New Shop

I have been doing alot of baby crafting around here, and finding tons of really cute baby things to make. So while in my craft mood I decided to open up shop, and start a Meylah store.

I intend to have alot of really cute stuff for Newborns all the way up to a 5yr olds, I will be having hair accessories, jewelry, clothing, barefoot sandals, etc and maybe even some tutorials of things I make. Im doing my best to add new items daily or at least once a week depending on what it is.

On other news, we have been on spring break this past week, So we have done a lot of random things like we got Destinys pet Rudy, which has already escaped her first cage so we had to purchase a new one.

We also went to the Landscaping nursery, we got several plants which I have no idea where Im going to plant them or what Im going to plant them in. So I guess Im going to have to get really crafty and make me a planter out of some old  privacy fence, but i havent officially decided yet.

We also went to our local McDonalds playland with some of Destinys cousins and after 4yrs she finally got the courage to go up into the slide on the playland tree house, Which for her is a huge accomplishment, She has always wanted to go up in it, but has been to afraid to go...You can feel it shake a bit from all the kids running in it, and I think it made her feel like she was going to fall. But her 8yr old cousin Jake, held her hand and took her up and she played in the whole rest of the time we was there!!

And other than that We havent done much other than stay home crafting, playing in the yard, going to some auctions and My mom n I have went Ally Hopping...
Which for those of you who dont know what Ally Hopping is: Ally Hopping is where you pick a neighborhood and drive down the allys, you will be greatly surprised what you can find  and what people well throw out! Now let me clarify we do not dig or get anything out of dumpsters, just things sitting beside the dumpsters in the ally... I have found tons of great shape vintage furniture, kids yard toys, old vintage screen doors and the super cute old 3-6pane windows. We normally find a truck load of stuff to bring home and fix up to sell in our local antique/craft mall..
