New hairstyle??

I have been debating on getting a perm forever, now. But I have just been to big a chicken to get it done, Not to mention it costs a small fortune.

But I have found me self really wanting it lately, So I think I just might give it a try.

My hair is naturally stick straight, and its about shoulder length now so Im hoping that it will be a nice change and won't shrink up in to some kind of poof..lol

Do any of you know if it is safe to get hair permed during pregnancy?

If it is safe, is it true that your hormones could prevent the perm from sticking?
